Today’s Performances

Y: The play tells the story of 20-year-old Palu who makes a radical choice. Directed by Shrirang Godbole and Vibhawari Deshpande, this Marathi play takes a look at political choices and reactions in personal-social situations that turn radical, at times even violent. (LTG; 4:00 P.M.)

Manteswamy Katha Prasanga: A Kannada play by Dr. K. Ramakrishnaiah based on a leading oral epic, is adapted to reflect the contemporary society and problems faced by people in a socio-political scenario and the approach of Manteswamy. (Sri Ram Centre; 5:30 P.M.)

Caligula: Based on Albert Camus’s play, Caligula tells the story of a Roman emperor consumed with self-glorification and twisted pride. Directed by Ashim Das, the play tries to understand and grasp the complexity of our times. (Kamani; 6:30 P.M.)
